A web-based, open-source IT workstation offering essential collaboration tools
- Development of a web-based IT workstation for public administration and educational institutions as an alternative to proprietary solutions such as Microsoft.
- Conception and implementation of the project with the support of a partner consortium.
- Use of an open source software for the workstation.
- Integration of basic functions for working on the computer such as e-mail, calendar, contacts, word processing, chat, video conferencing, collaborative working, as well as saving and exchanging documents.

A new IT workplace made for educational institutions and public administration
Univention provides the software for identity and access management and the end user portal.
Advice on technical conceptualization, architectural issues and the selection of open source solutions and their integration.
