The goal
From migration of major sites to technical support for mobilized teams
For Safran, an international high-technology group and equipment supplier in the fields of aeronautics, space, defense and security, managing the outsourcing and hosting of these sites, where the stakes are particularly high (financial communications, visibility, events such as the Paris Air Show 2023), is strategic. Mobilizing and providing technical support to all the Group’s Application Management service providers is also part of this high value-added project.

Industrialize the approach with a combination of proven technologies
With proven experience at RATP, Caisse Nationale de l’Assurance Maladie, Edenred France and Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel, Alter Way’s teams were selected to maintain the global platform in operational conditions, and to provide technical support and skills upgrades for Safran’s service providers.
- A combo of cutting-edge technologies was used: Drupal, WordPress, Symfony, LAMP, Private Cloud and Prestashop
- Puppet and Ansible were selected to industrialize the project, while Zabbix was chosen for monitoring

The Safran group now has a secure hosting solution, with complete, personalized facilities management. Alter Way manages the services and supports Safran in the evolution of its hosted projects, and in the launch of new projects. In view of the project’s success, Safran has renewed its confidence in Alter Way at the end of 2022.
